In statements to the aforementioned station, acting Executive Secretary of the CNE, Mauricio Funes, explained that the increase is due to «primarily two factors: first, the electricity generation component will rise by 2. 1%, and secondly, the electricity transmission charge will see an increase of 2. 8%.
